Ok thanks for your help guys, I just ordered a Powercolor 4870 PCS 800Mhz 512MB. AUD$329 including delivery. I actually have 3 computer stores right next door to where I work, and only one of them had a 4870, and he wanted $390 for it. wtf is the deal with that? He's an idiot, simple as that. Simpl...

I'm watching an anime so far that's kinda interesting if any of you want to check it out. Genre's: Ecchi Comedy School Romance(?) It's called Rosario + Vampire. It's about a boy who gets accepted to high school, but only finds out that it's a school for monsters. Thus the reason for all the odd beh...

Alright folks it's simple, just slap down your Xfire username and detail some of the games you play online, find people with similar interests and go from there. Re: Buying new PC, need approval
/me flails his own Gainward flag around showing true loyalty Heh, surprised that you're not just going to try and grab the Golden Sample edition, as it is overclocked standard to 700+ MHz for core and has a better cooling system anyway. Shouldn't cost much more, but is a fair bit better than bogstoc...

Re: I need help
Depends on what features/future expandability you're after, if it's something simple then there's a few options (not sure which as I haven't bothered to look at/for AMD motherboards for a year or so. Been way too obsessed with Intel to bother with AMD, so yeah... I doubt I'll be a 'reliable' source ...

Re: Post your O SO GREAT system specs!
No need for 780i :P, unless you're thinking of TRI GPU Support then sure :P The motherboard features themselves are certainly worth the extra money anyway, you get more overclocking headroom with these sort of chipsets aswell, oh and needless to say that the 780i motherboards are now priced at arou...

Re: I need help
Mind if we ask for the full specifications of your PC first, including very useful things like the power supply, etc. ?
Because it could just simply be you're starving your PC for something as simple as your power requirements outweigh your PSU itself.

Re: Buying new PC, need approval
That's just bloody stupid, the power supply is one thing you just cannot (and I can't stress this enough) be skimpy on, if you have to cut back elsewhere, never on the power supply, you're an idiot otherwise. Spend money on something decent like a Corsair HX-520 or something near it. Final note: The...

Wii's aren't doing too well now that most people are getting over the novelty of them. :> Proof being that Sony outsold Nintendo for November sales in Japan (where it really matters to both companies), http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=18535 . Re: PS2 and PS3
80 gb are more expensive, and you really don't need 80 gb if you aren't going to put all of your movies and itunes on it. Who cares about slapping movies a craptunes onto your ps3? You can install components of the games onto the hard drive itself, that ranges from 1-n gigs, it all depends on what ...
