Re: Need for Speed SHIFT Previews
It's been said many times that there'll be no demo for SHIFT, because the developers want to focus on delivering the best final product and can't "shift" resources for insignificant things like demos and what-not.

Re: New Drag Trailer at GT
Why not?
With good drag tyres and some suspention tweaks any 700+HP RWD car will wheelie.
A good launch is most important in drag racing.
I've seen on TV 1000HP+ Skyline loose to stock Porsche Turbo because of defective lauch-control.

jeez that sounds crazy , about how much boost are those setups putting out. i know of some pickup trucks around here running twin-turbo setups and they put out around 60-70 psi which is alot for a truck That kind of boost is A LOT for anything but TopFuel Dragsters! 20 years ago in the Turbo era of...

I voted Away with it... Just don't understand all that WARP-speed effects when you go just a little bit faster - it is very disorienting.

Why start with a box car (Chevvy), or a Alfa. both are a danger to the ozone layer. esp. the Chevvy. Fumes all over the plays. besides we also have to think of drifts drags etc, and i think the rx8 will be the wiser choice All cars in NFSC are a danger only for the nonexistent ozone layer over Palm...

Bike engines...
yes, but still, its a big difference. And im only discussing the engine here.... Well about your dream 6L engine with 1100HP at 12000rpm - it would have to be 24cyl to keep the geometry and the 5-6cm stroke for such high revs! And it will burn petrol like an army tank  The torque will...

Hmm . . . I kind of get what you're saying Grez, but it's all topsy-turvy :P I'd say that diesel is more volatile than petrol , and diesel engines have a longer stroke  So, a diesel engine is more fuel effiecient because diesel burns better, and it can't rev very high because the long stroke ...

Reading the previous posts
Reading the previous posts, it's obvious you have to learn to drift with NFSU2 physics using just about any car.
I must admit I never tried the SUVs, but I bet with some finetuning they'll be as good as any of the above mentioned cars!

There's a cherry-red C6.R - bonus car 24, which is exactly the same as the yellow one - bonus car 17, only the rims are different.
And a slightly better acceleration for the red C6.R.
