Btw RacingM, if you finished the game in about 25 hours, you're firetruck damn good! I played for about 24h hours (8h yesterday) and I only completed 40% of the game... It's a lot more challenging than NFSU. Don't know what you find easy in that game...

Work on your regularity before working on your speed. Once you can be for example, in 1.02 for 6 or 7 laps in a row, search for the speed. Although, you can do it in "wrong way". ;) Work on your hotlapping skill, being very fast on one lap and after, try do reproduce this lap over and over...

False! Gran Turismo 4 is coming out on December (3 : Japan; 14 or 20 : USA; 20 or a bit later : Europe). That B-Spec thing is kind of a racing management mode, it's not the version planned with the online mode. And the game with the online is planned one year later from the first release. Trust me, ...

By the way, I didn't use NOS at all on my fastest lap. Using it all as you did, I could beat quite easily. Goal : 49.50 As posted, a 45.89 was already done, by sliding on walls. I wanted to make a clean video, along with a descent time. I don't think sub 50 second laps without sliding on the rails ...

It's not the same version of the same on console and PC. PS2 has a Lancer; PC has the 350Z.

My fastest was in 7 seconds and my longest is over 24min.

EDIT : New longest time... It gets boring when you stay behind to have the longest time... It always take 2 minutes or less for me. No real challenge...

Prove it

As expected, I beated you, but by a lot mor than what I thought!
It's as clean as I could manage to do it.

My goal : 1.56 with a best in 55, maybe 54.

No proof, but I managed to do a 1.59.xx with a fastest lap in 59 second. It also could be a lot faster cause a I really kissed a car exiting the last corner and I lost about 3 to 5 seconds!

Put your graphic to the minimum, turn-ff Anti-Aliasing and you're ready to go!

Then you will need more proof. You knew that "normal" record can be proved only by a picture, but records like yours need more. For example, in the Gran Turismo International Community, ALL records are reviewed by X-Port, Shark Port, X-Ploder or MaxDrive and the replay is reviewed with a 3...

Is anyone here like true racing simulation? I tried GTR (demo) this week-end and it's simply awesome!

It's not a question of not being able to do it, it's a question of being logical! You reach the red zone at 360KPH. You simply cannot reach 450KPH without cheating.
