Re: Need For Speed Undercover mystery meshes

Some kind of SaveEditor would probably be nice, but I'm not sure if it's worth the time when you can do the most useful changes with some easy hex-editing. A savegame as a start is simpler, so I threw together something. It contains the CE cars, the Terlingua and the cop cars. I also added the cop 9...

The 'vinyl' is a 'texture' (iirc it's code is 50000000) and you can't change the color (the white part).

You can still access the cars not showing up anymore when replacing the carcode of a car that shows up with one that doesn't while inside the carlot.

Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

whats the AI car codes? or there vinyl codes would be cool The AI uses the same carcodes as the user. The only difference is their customization. All those cars which are predefined in the savegame are already available in the save I posted earlier. Of course, in the game there are more, but I'm no...

Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

The problem is I don't have the right address, which is 0DC21720. I tried to leave the game at car lot, career map, and the main menu. None of them work, it came back with the same result. I just can't find this 0DC21720 The address will be different for all of us, just use the first result your se...

Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

And the McLaren doesn't work in Drag mode :( The game seems to calculate a minimum time you have to reach to get points from each car's performance stats, as it seems to be messed up for the McLaren the calculation fails and the game crashes. Hey Cparty, i could edit the 72 00 -- row and change the...

Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

Is there any chance that these cars can be access on consoles such as PS3 without just running windows and playing the pc version on it Unless there is a way to access and edit the savegame on your memory card, I think there won't be a way to do that, unfortunately. Next thing to find is the pre-tu...

Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

Do you need to do the fix sum thing after adding the cars as for MW? No checksum fixing needed since all changes are done in memory directly (nfs will do the checksum stuff for you), but thanks for the info :) Looks like CoDe RiPPeR already did the savegame checksum fixer. So if you prefer, do the ...

Re: NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

Cparty, can u make a little guide? The easiest way is to replace an existing car in the carlot by a new code - buy the replaced car - then revert back to the original code. (You can of course simply add the correct line in a free slot.) In this example we will replace the Nissan 240sx with the Koen...

Though I have no idea how to actually get these cars, but it is getting somewhere. When I found the new codes, I simply added the codes in the carslot section to make them available in the carlot. This section looks pretty much the same as in MW or Carbon, Customization section has changed (quite a...

NFS ProStreet: Car Codes

Since there is no savegame loader to load your files you just edited with a hex-editor, you will need to do the changes in memory using the memory editor of your choice until such a tool is released. As usual, before editing backup your career files! Game cars: 33D29311 Acura Integra 18681085 Acura ...

Most of the cars are missing some parts, but will drive ok and look cool (not all though) :) maybe EA was unable to finish them by the deadline. How do you figure all this out, cparty ? Hmm, well I look at the data in a Hex-Editor (or Memory-Editor) and try to see any patterns and structures. If I narrowed down an area to be responsible for certain things I try to change one single detail ingame and look for the changes in the data (prefera...

All you have to do is edit the value for Vinyl Color 1 in the vinyl slot. Now all we need is an explanation on how the hex-based color system works in Carbon. The first 2 Bytes seem to be the hue value ranging from 4D1C - A71C. The second 2 Bytes are the coordinates in the color grid (1 Byte X-coor...

As the slot 13 is premade in the save it should be the same for all of us, so here we go: Using the above calculation (00011b70h + 13h x 470h) will get us to the start of customization slot nr. 13, which is 00016fc0h. There you read the first 2 Bytes (remember, 2 Characters form 1 Byte, so you need ...
