Ugh, they're gasher than a head wound. I spent all this morning being tailgated by some arsehole in a Calibra 4x4 turbo with Lexus rear lights and some terrible Morette style front light clusters. Luckily I was on the bike so I could trounce him when he started being really doodle.

Exclusively for people named "baz" who drive Corsas with huge bodykits.

Wasn't there another topic like this... huh, anyway.

I don't really like Bugatti's, but I can't say they are particularly ugly... not the Veyron at least.

Ugly cars ugly cars... hmm... the modern Dacias and Renaults, never liked them but today's Dacias and Renaults are hideous. But I guess you get what you pay for huh?

The modern Pontiacs, they don't look like muscle cars anymore but they could at least look like sports cars...

Lamborghini Estesto Elemento or whatever the hell it's called...

Ferrari Italia and Enzo, not the ugliest cars ever but still pretty ugly... FXX and F70 are fine.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP650... the Murcielago is awesome and the LP640 and Roadster are particularly great, but they ruined them with the LP650's ugly paint.

Porsche Panamera and Cayenne, whoever designed these will forever be categorized in my book as a moron. The 918 spyder is cool except for those rims, I mean WTF they look like someone put a CD in the middle.
As a side note to Porsches, the 1999 - 2005 models are the best looking cars ever. EVER!!!!911

Modern (2006-present) BMW's, the only cool one is the M6, thank god.

Gumpert Apollo.

All Peugeots.

90's Ford's.

Pagani Huayra and Zonda C9, horrible things.

Nissan 350Z, Toyota Supra, Nissan Skyline and pretty much every other Tuner except the S2000, the Silvia S15 and the GT-R35, they look ugly without aftermarket parts.

I'm so gonna get raged.

Actually I'd have to agree with most of that, especially the supercars.

LOL

The Porsche Panamera and the Cayenne are not the best looking Porsches, to put it mildly, but saying the designer is a moron, I think they people at Porsche think otherwise, the Cayenne is the big cashcow Porsche has, and well the same thing will be for the Panamera, see it this way for some odd reason people like them, and are willing to pay for it, and do it in great numbers, and that makes sure that Porsche gets the money it needs to work on nice projects like the GT2 RS etc.

Tuner I got the weird feeling looking at your list that you list of cars you think look good is shorter then the one above

That's an exaggeration but I get what you mean. Yeah I don't really like where 21st century's designs are going...

I'll kill myself if I ever see this in production:

(Hypothetically speaking, I know it's for a movie)

As for the Porsches, the designers obviously didn't think they are ugly :P But Porsche's just aren't made to be stretched... my opinion.

Just for the record, cars I like (design wise):

-Koenigsegg
-Porsche (all of 'em except the before mentioned ones)
-Dodge Challenger SRT8

Actually, I'm with you on that. I have seen so many fewer attractive cars these days than in the mid- to late-90s. I don't care for all of the swoopy lines, bubble cars, and freakazoid (Nissan) cubes in auto design these days. And don't even get me started on the throwback muscle cars.

Take me back to the Evo VI and before, Skylines, mid-90s Subarus, and Ferraris and Porsches even.

I have had long talks on this subject with my brothers and all though none of us is sure why, we all agree cars are less attractive today.

There are exceptions, of course. Notably, the Murcielago SV, which is all that a Lamborghini should be. I was also going to argue about 90s Fords (because I drive one,) but then I realized they really were mostly hideous (except mine, clearly.)

Hang on, so an Enzo is ugly, yet an Enzo with a mis-fitted bodykit and crap paint job looks good?

Don't think you can decide a car is ugly because of the paint colour, especially if it's optional. ;)

The R35 GT-R is what I assume you're referring to. It's a hideous, vile thing, like a 350Z that's taken an overdose of steroids. At least it's functional uglyness, like the Apollo.

Agree about the GT-R.

For the Murcielago SV... well it's not the ugliest car ever but the whole rear and that front bumper... meh.

As for the FXX and F70 again, not great, but at least they look like supercars. Enzo looks like a giant toy car.

Enzo does look retarded, however I can't fathom how you lump it with the 458 Italia as that is probably the best thing from Ferrari since the F40 and 288 GTO. The rest could all have come out of the generic mould...

Murcie SV :o I love that car, but then I like designs purposed towards handling and racing rather than uninspired and 'family friendly' design which has spread like a disease through car manufacturers.

Personally I would lump all Koenigsegg's in the cookie cutter mould category too. Very boring and uninspiring for a supercar design. Though he Hyruaurauaura thingy is just a terrible car aesthetically. The Zonda is interesting if not very tasteful. Though the Zonda R race car is stunning.

The Veyron has to be one of the ugliest cars of the last decade, really not to my tastes especially the weight class.

Personally I really liked the TVR Speed 12 prototype that actually raced, before it got turned into the Cerbera Speed 12 which was a disaster looks wise.

I double that. Its looks like a gen1 twingo (which is ugly as hell) that has been dropped on a 1st gen Fiat brava.

Also Mitsuoka Le Seyde is one of the uglyest cars i've seen. (actually half of all Mitsuokas look more or less dicusting now that i look at them). I would link a pic but the forum wont allowe me cos its my first post.

I don't like the most modern cars (post-1999), but I think the Mercedes-Benz S-Class [W221], Nissan Juke [F15] and Maxima [A35], Infiniti FX [S51], M [Y51] and QX56 (3rd Gen), Jaguar XF, Mazda 6 [GJ], Hyundai Accent [MC and RB] and Sonata [YF], Subaru Legacy [BM/BR], Chevrolet Cruze and Lancia Delta (3rd Gen) have disgusting design.
