Legal or No?

Simple enough I'd say.

I paid full tote for my copy and tbh I'm proud of that.

I am sad that I paid for it but I traded in Fallout 3 and a few other old games for it.

Where is the "didnt buy, didnt download" option?

Tbh, I tried it before I bought (I didnt buy thank the holy Lord, though I thought about it). That is what EA deserves for over marketing a demo-less product. I deleted about 2 hours after playing. Got sick of it.

I don't have Undercover for now. But I intend to get it through torrents, just to get a feel for the PC version. If the outcome is good, I'll get the real thing. :)

This forum does not track who voted on what. I checked that on a poll a while ago.

And yes, mein Undercover ist legal.

Why isn't there a "I wouldn't get a copy, legal or not, unless it was handed to me for free" option? That pretty much describes how I feel about Undercover. :P

Lmao, The piracy EA finds it self battling tooth and nail with is stemming strongly because of EA themselves. Lol

If you know anything about DRM, you also know that cracked copies sometimes are less of a hassle than the legit locked down copies you purchase.

I own Red Alert 3 and never play it off the disc, Instead I played my ripped cracked version simply because its less of a hassle. But If I am willing to torrent a game and still play the torrented copy as well as buy the game, imagine what other people less honest than me would do.

I'm proud to admit that I bought a fully legit copy. Got to keep the retailers in business in these difficult financial times 8)

Now if only I had an IBM Roadrunner Supercomputer, it might even run properly...

Only games I could be bothered to buy was PU, UG1, and HP2. All else, I went to the movie theater 7 times instead.

Oh, LOVE Tokyo Drift. After the less-car-racing-more-unnecessary-violent FnF 2 (isn't bad at all, but still), it's nice for Universal to take it back to its original intentions, delivering octane racing.

Hope I get HD DVD for X-Mas. Tokyo Drift, along with the complete Friday movie set, will be in my collection. :D

ON-TOPIC: I'll try before I buy with this one using torrents. If I find that IGN is full of crap with their review, I'll laugh in their face, as their attempt to take a massive dump on EA (if it can even be called such) failed miserably.

Uh oh, talk of piracy and illegal NFS games on the board?! Started by an admin?! It's the end of the world.

By the way, my copy is illegal. Well, technically since piracy is nonexistent in Canada and downloading a copy of anything is viewed as borrowing a copy of the product from the library, then it's not really illegal. I just received it for free, so technically, I should have voted for "the copy is legal".

I know.

But it was plain to me prior to starting the thread that piracy is rampant with this game, so I wanted to measure it. I'm really surprised by how many people openly admit they stole the game - do they think they have some kind of immunity or anonymity?

Somewhat. As to the fact that I already deleted it so I cannot be openly prosecuted by FBI. plus not to mention the fact that FBI doesnt give a shid?

I paid for Spore and that's a piece of crap, also RA3 wasn't worth AU$99, so I consider that as payment for my illegal copy of Undercover :-"
