Striker, honestly:

Sell EVO IX (it sucks hard in ProStreet for Grip) and the Dodge Viper. Change Supra from Drift to Drag. If you can put a Suspension 3 on the Supra, the car will also wheelie, which makes the interest of the Chevelle SS close to zero.

With the extra money wait until you unblock all cars and then sell EVO X and buy 911 Turbo for Grip. Sell Viper and buy 911 Turbo for Speed (keeping suspension stock). Sell RX-8 and buy RX-7 for Drift. And keep working on your Supra in Drag (my Supra has 322 hp and does 6.8s, without bug use! ;P).

That would be what I would do.

Okay, about the Supra and 911 Turbo. I know everyone seems to think that they're awesome, and they probably are, but do you need tonnes of tuning to make it go fast? I mean, I have a VERY limited time frame for PS2 each week, and I really don't have the time nor patience to spend hours tuning my cars. So, any cars that are good WITHOUT tuning?

okay!

that helps. Are the parts really expensive for the Turbo?

And as for the Supra, can it outrun the Viper???

And the Turbo is very good, but is it good for speed? I have doubts, as my experience for 3 different cars in Speed (Viper, R34 and 350Z) have been filled with crashes and losses.

Hi!

If we exclude bug usage, I think Supra is probably the fastest Drag car after Zonda.

About the 911 Turbo in Speed Races, just see my YouTube Videos or download from Filefront! ;) Links are below!

I recommend using the Toyota Supra in Drag Races or any other powerful
RWD car. For grip races, the Acura NSX is perfect for ones with many
straight-aways while the Mazda RX-7 is good for small ones with lots of
cornering. :)

Okay, a bit of info about my career...

1) I have a 600hp Chevelle SS for drag. It's non-tuned and usually pulls low-8s. Does this count as a powerful RWD car?

2) For speed I now have a 350Z, and keep totaling. Were you using a wheel on those videos? They seem like really smooth turns...

3) I don't have the extender pack, so I have an Evo X for Grip, and am planning to get a R34...

The Chevelle SS started with quite a lot of power, but the upgrades didn't do a lot to upgradeits power. I was also quite cheap. My other people like the Supra, but I think I'm gonna stick with muscles. A Mustang/Camaro SS seems good...

Hi!

I use a Wheel, yes. Logitech G25.

About the other questions, I have already given my views before! ;)

Hey

Drag race cars...

Bug usage !!

If it is a question about using all stage 4 parts in the drag car - yes Zonda is the fastest..

I have done 5.47 sec 1/4 mile with all stage 4 parts.

if you can use the stage 2 suspension to prevent wheelies - the Supra ( besides Camaro SS ) is the fastest drag car -
8.98 sec in 1/2 mile - i haven´t seen the Zonda do that yet - not on PC anyway.

For online racing i prefer my Supra - but for the muscle car lovers - i have seen a guy do 9.26 sec 1/2 mile online at Portland with the new Pontiac GTO.

you know how AWD cars are supposed to stay nice and flat during a turn, then why in prostreet do they drift around corners? They are designed to handle corners with mininum wheelspin, and max grip. In Prostreet it seems to be the opposite!!!

As I have mentioned before, I have an Evo X. It has NO grip whatsoever on turns. It just seems to glide past the turn, which although is sometimes helpful, other times it can really suck. Is this only with the Evo, or does this happen on other 4WD cars as well??? (R34, R35, Evo IX etc.)

Does anyone know how much a good-quality racing wheel costs in Australia?

R35 GTRs are part time AWD, and AWD cars can lose grip depending on the way they're setup. So an R35 can drift, but it's very controlled if doing it for a grip race.

About good racing wheels, JB hi-fi have a good range. A logitech G25 is high end, anything under that is ok, but not exactly realistic. Some have better feeling pedals and steering though.

Yeah, do you have a R35??? Is it better than the Proto?

Also, i think somebody suggested the RX-8, forgot who it was though. Have you tried it? Is it any good?

R35 is for grip, but the rx8 is great for drift.
