Good suggestion, especially in timetrails and sector shootouts...(where you don't start together, and have to catch up to them, and then run them of the road to make sure you win....)

every single grip race is incredibly easy if you use a fully modded Evo X (don't need stage 4, but some will help) and stiffen the suspension some, lower the car some, stiff steering ratio, negative caster and the other cornering one for the tight tracks, and keep them near the middle for longer tracks involving more speed and maybe a little to the positive side. gear ratios should basically stay the same with a bit taller 4th gear for the tight tracks and increase the final drive ratio for the longer ones. Brake bias a bit to the front too. It kills the competition. If you are having too much power and the car slides too much, you probably have too much power over handling but just reduce some of the cornering things, not increase. the car wont slide as much and it will be easier to turn.

The rev loss at shifts is remedied by lowering gear ratios.
Understeer? Stiffer front and softer front tyres.
Instability? Lower the car and tighten it up
Quick steering? Loosen the steering rack.

I was really surprised about the new M3 until I saw that it wasn't tuned. The corolla's surprisingly fast though. And those times show how much tuning can improve performance... my R35 GTR slaughters MY M3.

yeah, i wanna know as well.

And yeah, is the RX-8 good for tighter tracks as well, coz I got a Evo IV and an Evo X, and after having a look at the times, the RX-8 definately seems to be a good quick-start, easy to drive car.

So, good for twisty tracks as well, or only for the cruzier ones...
