Street Kings

Post by Striker94 »

This is a random poll about which king in prostreet, not including Ryo, is the hardest.

Please vote, and then post which order of difficulty they are...

i picked speed, mainly because i absolutely suck at speed challenge...

Spped king is really easy for me, all you've got to do is drive carefully so you don't total.

Drift King is the only one I had to reattempt, So he gets my vote.

Drift king... tokyo dockyards suck, and some autopolis courses are a pain. This was a lvl3 AE86 mind you.

Definitely Aki Kimura.

Before I realised that my Supra wasn't going to cut and so sold it for an RX7 of my own, he was unstoppable in my books.

All the others are novices, seriously. The only trouble I had was the 1/2 Mile against Karol because that blasted hill kept on unsettling my car (stock suspension mind you) and totalling it.

All of them were pretty easy... Since there's AI handicap based on your performance, I guess you're supposed to take on the kings as soon as you get the chance to race the mode-specific events. I wouldn't be surprised if the king AI had "fixed" skill values.

Then there's also the fact their cars are far from being the best in their modes, which is important... The Mustang is crap, the Bimmer E92 is horrible for grip, the GTO is unstable... RX-7 is actually the only exception (because Mazdas make the EA programmers horny) and hence the Drift King is the only good one.

So!

Close compitition (not)

4-0-0-1...

Hmmm, apparentely everyone thinks the drift king is the hardest. ummm, if you don't use cheats, what car to beat him with?

And suprising nobody picked speed. I'm usually in the lead against nate denver, but I keep on totalling...

Nate's car LOOKS ok, but apparently is really slow...

If I were to pick a speed king car, I'd pick the Viper, drift king-RX-7/AE86, grip king-Skyline (R35), drag-muscle

I can't vote, because frankly they all sucked. But if you're talking about AI difficulty, there was nobody to oppose me in the first G-Effect event. Then there was Paul bloody Trask in the R34, and Rudy motherfiretrucking Chen in the 911. Ray Krieger sucked so bad, I wonder why Rudy Chen didn't take his freaking place. After all I do like to use a fast car for my events, and Chen's 911 would've fit the bill perfectly.

hmmm, lets see....

$249,500

BUT

If you're onto that 911 Tubo thing again, please spare me the trouble, because I just purchased a R35...

So R35 or Turbo?

The battle begins...

#-o

Yes, I was going to go with the 911 thing again...

The other alternative is the GTR Proto, and there is a reason why it's dearer than the R35. It is more powerful with Stage 3 parts, it has better handling, all of which makes it all around better than the R35. But, I've found that the 911 is the only thing that can keep up with Rudy's 911. Try the R35 though and ask me again if you have any problems.

f***!!!!!!

Why am I always wrong!

I just played for about 45 min, and I have NO hope! I only came first ONCE, and a few seconds.

Ok, Maybe I will get a Turbo, but if you had to choose, which one would you do; replace viper for speed or replace R35/Evo for Grip?

So, $122,000...

Also, I see that you got a new sig... It's good, but your old one was HOT

And, you live in mount gambier!?!?! Wow, that's pretty close. I've been there twice, lived in some random house

For the 911, definitely change your Grip car for it. For Speed, for it's cheap price and insane amount of power when fully tuned, get the R34 GTR.

And I changed my sig because my old one didn't really fit the name. I'm in the process of making a new one, though, so I'll get back to you on that...

The R35 GTR is excellent... a bit retarded that it's worse than the proto, but lower the gearing, the gearing is way too high. One you do that, it'll not only out grip, out brake Ryo on lvl3, it'll out accelerate his lvl 4 evo.

okay, i'm just so pissed off at the really squiggly track (no idea what it's called), and can't seem to come 1st!

So, after careful consideration, I've purchased the 911 Turbo (dramatic Music)

I've applied a few vinyls, and upgraded the following:

Engine-Stage 2
Transmission-Stage 3
Turbo-Stage 2
Suspension-Stage 3
Tires- Stage 2

I've attached a spoiler, but none of the body kits appeal to me. Any suggestions?

dun dun duh!

For Short A (pretty sure that's the really squiggly and quite slow track) shorten your gears for more acceleration, and put the cam timing right in the middle that would be your best bet.
