Changing the color on Stock Vinyls in Pro Street

I want to change the color on the stock vinyl for the Ford GT to White, but whenever I do it just says that I can't modify stock vinyls. I could do that in older versions of NFS, but not here. Is this a glitch, or did EA just mess up?

I doubt they ever will. You can do that if you have the PC version and know hex-editing though. I haven't done it in a while, so don't ask me; you'll be better off searching for the topics.
