NFSPS : Evo X grip tuning

Post by zeqlon »

Hey,
I'm trying to finetune an Evo for grip, but I seem to be running into a weird issue. I tested it on the ring track (I can never remember the names, it's the simple oval one) and in the turns, I always lose like 50 kph and there are sparks that look like they come from the undercarriage. I thought maybe the ride height was too low, but even at maximum height i still get them. My 911 Turbo doesn't have that problem even though it's pretty low on the ground. Any ideas what's wrong ?

Simple. Leave sixth gear ratio stock. THat was my solution though - all my cars had the same horrible problem, even my Turbos.

Looks like too much downforce to me. For high speed circuits downforce limits top speed with drag and.. that issue, the faster you go there comes to be a point the suspension can't handle all the aerodynamic downforce and bottoms out. Not sure if it happens in real life but it sure does in the NFS games.

So keep it fast, flatten out the wings and firm up the spring rates and increase the ride height you should be fine.

Cos if I can have a 380kph Lexus highway battler...
