Prostreet drifting physics.

How do you find Prostreets drifting physics? In my opinion, I feel the drifting physics from a fun and pick up and play style are spectacular. They demonstrate good amounts of smoke, and a good feel of speed. But, if you are looking at it from a realistic point of veiw I don't feel it delivers as well. If you were in a real d1 drift car blasting round a corner at 133mph on full throttle is going to make the car spin, I think prostreet needs just a slight physics tweak thats all.

I would really like to know what you think of this.

Thankyou all.

Lmfao they are no physics involed, it just locks you into a drift, all you have to do is accelerate.

Ok, thanks for your thoughts.

Too True-just looks at Race Driver-GRID and try doing the same thing as in Prostreet.

Don't actually know if you've noticed this but RD:GRID's physics aren't very realistic either...

yeah it is really easy and i know u need to hit the brakes for a drift but EA could have pre-tuned the cars without showing it

I really hated the drifting in prostreet. It almost felt like one had to force the car into drifting. Only the RX7 felt natural (in game terms that is) which is what I ended up using to finish the game.

Lol, you HAVE to force a car into a drift dood. They're not designed to go sliding naturally, ever. Physics here are non-existent, its true, but it does stay true to some basics.

Agree, but then again, realism doesn't matter in NFS.

I do find PS to be the best-feeling arcade out though. Games like GT are not nearly as fun at times, but so are alot like most previous NFS titles and undercover. PS hit it just right for me.

The drift physics are a bit "canned" (programmed). Go to near the end of a track, then turn around and try drifting while going back to the start of the track, and the car will act differently.

Thanks all. I just think there should be a bit more challenge with regards to drifting on prostreet. It almost feels sometimes that the game, has more control over the car than the player does. It seems to me that the game assumes where you want to begin and finish your drifts, and locks you in a zone. As a result of this you can never really get the drift you want, only what the game wants. Really good fun though. Thanks again.

Yea, i do drifiting in grip races. Alot more funner, and the realism still isn't perfect but its alot better than the drift mode.
