Diesel engines have a really high compression ratio compared to gasoline engines. The diesel burns because it is really compressed. Diesels don't need sparkplugs, too.

BTW ignition in diesel engine is provided by the injection of superheated air into the pressurised chamber. When cold, this doesn't work so well, so an electric 'glow plug' is used - thats the thing you have to heat up before turning the engine over.

My weird experiences:

- NFSU1 times: I didn't drive a car, but I used to feel some game features when walking on the street. i.e. Near miss / drafting with other pedestrians. Yeah imagine myself trying to draft --->

- NFSMW: Don't have own car but I drive my dad's. I tend to shift up at higher rpms. I miss the NOS. I feel the car accelerates SO slowly! And guess what I do each time I see a truck.................. j/k! haha. I'm not THAT crazy!

You go to a Groceries Store with a shopping cart and you drive recklessly (old lady trying to buy cabbage screams, "Oh dear....Oh my lord", Speed past other shoppers, screech around the isle with security people behind you (you thinkin' they're cops, eh?).

i know what hes talking about.....i used to do it in highschool

got on alot of peoples nerves doing it too.(of course i did it on purpose)
