Heat level won't get higher that x4!

Hi

I'm playing Most Wanted and I'm #6 on the blacklist. And my heat level won't get higher that x4! I've been playing with the police chasing me about 20 mins and heat level won't get high! Anything to do to make the heat level to x5, x6, or x7?

I guess you are too early to reach heat 5, wait untill you beat another one or two blacklist drivers.

i think you have to crack the top 3 on the blacklist before you can get heat level 5. although, i'm not entirely sure.

X6 is only available in the final pursuit and X7 is only available in the Challenge Series exclusively on Black Edition.

Hmm, I think it also hits Heat 6 in the final challenge, the 30 minute chase. Lemme check..

EDIT: Yep, Challenge 68 starts at heat 5 and moves to heat 6 along the way.

hey guys ,gonna ask this here since it is about heat level...is there a ninth level of pursuit in career??cuz i got that pizza trainer and toggled "Be Most Wanted" on...and the heat level turned to 9!!,,though the cop cars are still of level five(the corvets)??

the highest level you can reach in career is level 5. even though your heat meter may say level 9, or even 1000, it'll still be level 5. only during the final pursuit can you get to level 6, and level 7 is only available in the Camaro challenge in Black Edition

the only problem i have with the heat level's is that heat level 6 should be available after you finish the final pursuit and that the BMW M3 GTR unless changed in look should remain heat level 6

heat lvl 6 is only in the last pursuit
in "normal" career mode you only can reach lvl 5

anyway, in challenge 68 (the last challenge for non-black-editions and the second last for black-editions) you start at lvl 5 and will have moved up to lvl 6 after exactly 10 minutes. That's the only way to reach lvl 6 after completing career, you can of course also repeat career mode.
