Which NFS game had the best career mode starting cars?

Well, the topic is pretty self-explanatory. Personally, I think Need For Speed: Underground 2 had the best starters, with the Silvia and the Miata.

Hot Pursuit 2! (Lotus Elise, Opel Speedster)
Exotic cars, but 'crappier' than th ehigh end Ferraris, Lambos, etc.
In that game, getting the McLaren F1LM was like reaching heaven and Lambos were actualy semi-God cars
In MW, having a Lamborghini is like something normal since you get the Gallardo pretty soon.....
P.S. 50 posts + TurboCharged yippe!!

Still rolling my eyes
Silvia = 240sx

@SkeeteRX7: your first post... there is no silvia in underground.
I meant Silvia meaning 240sx.
Also, V-8 Miatas destroy the point of a Miata.

Have to say High stakes but I liked the cars in Hot Pursuit 1 I liked the SL600 also
And ooh a cars coolness is not decided by it's engine size.
cause a Porsche 356 is WAY cooler then a Miata, there is no question about it. yeah it is not faster so?
I have driven a light yellow 356B once and it was simply put COOL everything was original including the radio, it was simply cool.
If you drive a 356, it simply says you got style!
If you drive a Miata it says, your eighter a girl or a hairdresser!
apart from the real cars, in U1 and U2 I never liked the Miata/MX5 in U1 it was the slowest starter car of the pack, in U2 the Miata was not the slowest starter car, have to give the Corolla credit for that. but it was not the fastest by far. and in the Euro version it wasn't even a starter car.

I doubt very many people on this board follow that logic (by which, if I'm not mistaken, the coolest production car would be a Viper). Come to think of it, it would make my Escort cooler than most Miatas.TheStig wrote:And ooh a cars coolness is not decided by it's engine size.
Anyways, I'm leaning towards HP2 having the best starting cars, due to my completely biased adoration for the Elise.
No it's not also mail hairdressers use oneSkeeteRX7 wrote:The MkIII MX-5 is not a chick car.....also, it is preference.
I am not saying it is a bad car, it is a great handling car, but in terms of looks a MX5 is rather feminen. and the 3rd generation looks rather weird, I personally like the 2nd one better simply because the lines work better togehter, the 3rd gens lights look simply weird.
A rotary engine's size is something completely diffirent and can't compare it with a normal engine.SkeeteRX7 wrote: My favorite engine is only 1.3 liters!
