My Data corrupted on NFS Most Wanted for ps2? Im innocent

i did't unplug a controller, or remove the memory card while it was saving or any of that crap, it just got corrupted, is there anyway to fix the data. It happened before, and i stopped playing, then it came back, could this happen again, or was it just a fluke and shold i delete and start over.

did you reset the consle while that little yellow dude in the upper right hand corner was there? i did it, and mine got corrupted too.
