hi ya'll. recently i was playing nfs mw on a laptop and it took about 8 mins to even launch and load but was running awesome at all settings on except 'aa' and shadow detail then for about a week or two, i stopped playing on it and it wasent started by anyone then, suddenly when after some days i started the game again, and the game started in a second! and loading was very fast! but strangely the performance dropped significantly and now it runs ok at low settings. i have a long loading time too on my pc but the game run fine at high settings. so afterall i have two questions

1- what happened to the laptop?
2- is there a way to decrease loading times for nfs mw on pc without sacrificing the performance?

buy/install more RAM

and you could try using Disk Defragmenter, might help a bit too
