Steering wheel dead zone

Hi,
I tried to play Most Wanted with my steering wheel, a Thrustmaster Ferrari GT 2-in-1 Force Feedback racing wheel. The dead zone is about 50%, which makes it rather unplayable, and I couldn't find any settings for this. Does anybody know how to fix this?
