I hope EA will bring out an NFS U Expansion Pack. It think it's cool. The only thing you mention and I dislike is the $50.

yeah but what i really meant is they deliberatley made it not as customizable as the other need for speed games on pc that have so many user created things like cars etc that they never needed expansions. i think ea should have made underground like this, so we could download new parts, cars etc. it seems to me they did it because they knew how popular it would be so they could bring an expansion out in the future to make more cash from the already huge need for speed franchise.

I think that if we are able to edit the cars it woudln't have any effect on other users online because they use the game's car and not the other user's car, just like the vinyls, the only thing that would mess up online play is an added car, added tracks, or edited tracks. I hope EA makes an expansion, I dont care if they do it for the money.. Its still fun lol

I don't think EA will release an expansion pack for NFSU... Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I believe they are coming with a new version (NFSU2), where some of the missing stuff will be included, and some of the already included stuff will be improved. The Need For Speed series hasn't had many expansion packs earlier (except the SE of TNFS and NFS2, but i don't think they count), and I don't think they're gonna start yet... But I can be wrong...

well if they do make an expansion they would get more money since an expansion needs the original game, and those who want to play the expansion badly would also have to buy the 1st NFSU original game to be able to install the expansion so it would really be good for their overfilled pockets lol

Well EA did release two updated and improved Need for Speed games:
The Need for Speed SE
and Need for Speed 2 SE

There's probably no hope for an expansion, but I bet there will be a NFSU2.

Yeah, bobyx, you are right on that. However I think that was done back in the days when EA was establishing the NFS series, making it a unique niche, and now things are a bit different (in EA's mind anyways - otherwise how would you explain realistically mediocre NFSHP2 and very commercial NFSU?) .... We are all addicted to NFS and want will buy any new game from them, remebering how good NFS PU was, for example. . . On a sidenote, NFSPU is still ranked in Top 10 at Gamespot with 8.9...

yea, PU is the greatest NFS game. i just noticed that the forece feedback on my wheel was a lot better in PU than in UG. sorta sad... if ther'll be a NFSU2, with damage, and more cars, and more customizability in the performance area, i will be a ver happy (

nah i doubt they would burnout... with an expansion, most of the time with the exception of Wc3 and some other titles, u can normally use a hacked/burnt version of the original and a retail Expansion

Normally the expansion doesnt check both CD keys.

Well, just learned the game called "Juiced" by Acclaim is gonna be released this fall... By the looks of it and the screenshots, it's gonna OWN Undeground in every aspect. 50 cars, diff race modes, and all the customizable parts and colors and such. hmmm... juiced looks sounds sweet but i think NFS's graphics are better... and mebbe this is a good sign, if everybody buys juiced, EA may relewase an improved NFS

hope EA will wake up and realize that. Because that game is at a test stage, and those screenshots are from Xbox - meaning on PC it may look better. Also, it's very early, so I assume quality will improve..
So Juiced just got added to the list of games I want to get this year (others being "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." and "Rome:Total War")

I don't think ea will bring out a expansion pack. If there's gona be a nother street race game that's probely gona be the fast and the furious game that's in the make. But it would be cool to make a expansion pack. I would get it if it's not to expansive.
