car drives backwards

im having a problem w/my controller,i go and set up the controller the way i want it,and go and race and the minute,i press on the gas,i get no acceleration,and the

car starts to drive backwards.lol

yes,i have it set to automatic,not manual

Same thing happened to me. The computer remapped the Brake/Reverse to the y-axis after I restarted the game. Therefore it maxes out the rpm in reverse and with the forward throttle fully advanced the car fights itself to go forward.
