Help me tune a TT, please

Post by U925 »

Hello.
I got a question and a need for tips.

The question:
How do I unlock all widebody kits in career mode?

Need for Tips:
I'm tuning a TT. Not the first car I try. But this one is being difficult.
It steers less than I want. And it has problems with braking and turning.
All upgrades are unlocked (except the widebody kits).
Softening the rear shocks (keeping the front shocks stiffer) made me steer more. But I trade lot of speed for it.
As for braking, I moved the bias to +10.
I also raised the rear of the car by, say, 4 notches.
(this should push the barycenter a lil bit toward the front of the car, right?)
Steering ratio is 1.10 atm. Stability Control is always off.
This setup is far from acceptable. How do I improve it?

Thanks for any help.

Looks like there's no activity on this board anymore...
No matter. Someone will stumble on this, eventually. I'll keep waiting.

Thanks.

geez you still havent unlocked wideboy kits?, ya kno the first place to look would be on google, but if your here.
to do it just win 10 outruns then u get a phonecall saying to go get it, u can only get the 1 in career mode tho im pretty sure :\
and uh i do drifting on ug2, and the TT just works perfect standard, for me anyway

That answers the widebody kit question. Thank you.

Now, what about actual help in how to fix the serious understeer problem of the TT,
rather than telling me that you drift perfectly with it?

I like to do circuits and free roams.
Drift, Drag, Street X <-- I do not care about them.
I repeat I can setup my cars properly. I'm having trouble only with the TT.

Help is appreciated.

I did it.
My TT now steers all I want, yet she's glued to the road.
I can dare steer and brake at 300 Km/h without losing grip.
I can't ask for more :D
