I guess it is called an IS300 as it has a 3litre engine as opposed to the European IS200 which is a 2litre? If that is so, Toyota, sorry, Lexus should offer the option of the bigger engine. I suppose they don't, due to the ridiculous cost of petrol over here - but surely rich people could afford it??
Or am I completely missing the mark and the model number means nothing?
Just a thought - any comments Toyota?

Cheers Stig for clearing that up - I've never seen an IS300 in the UK (although Lexii(?) aren't that popular here, compared to similar priced BMW's and Mercs).
The one Lexus I do like, though, is the Soarer. This should have been in the game, IMHO, instead of the IS300 (I don't know how prices compare, however.)

f360spyda - that's a good point. The 430/Soarer (as I think it is still called here) is a sweet ride. I'd forgotten they'd updated the model (as I said, they have a certain rarity value - if I had the cash I'd have one of those as opposed to the Beemers most people seem to go for).
However, i'd be happy to see either (or both) incarnations in the game. Maybe one day someone will work out how to add cars to NFSUx.

i agree man! i live in Australia too and wish the Monaro was in it but still the GTO rocks. Hope u can put 427 lights on it and change the front grill.delsonist wrote:being australian i am particularly looking foward to the monaro (pontiac GTO).....
shame its based on the Series 1 (VX Commodore) monaro (we have 3 here now, much nicer car)
pity they didnt use a real australian, seeing as the LS1 is a chev block. A car like a Ford GT or even an XR6 Turbo Would have been nice...
I cant wait for:
GTO
Mustang
AE86
Escalade
3000GT
and all the rest lol!
would have been good if they put a Silvia S15 in it.
Yeah an XR6 Turbo would be real nicedelsonist wrote:being australian i am particularly looking foward to the monaro (pontiac GTO).....

im excited about the AE86... my favourite car, i can't wait to get the game
the pontiac grill is a tad homo, yeh i hope it can be made to look a little more monaro/gto coupe like.....i agree man! i live in Australia too and wish the Monaro was in it but still the GTO rocks. Hope u can put 427 lights on it and change the front grill.
Though the VY SS rims are a wise choice by pontiac.[/img]

the AE86 is a good car for drifting. i bet you that the EA producers have been watching too much initial D when the car list crossed their minds, but hey, its a good car. old, but good. one of the cars i'm looking forward to is the AE86. and it is popular in quite a few places too.Dragster wrote:What's up with this AE86? Doesn't look so good. Is that a popular car somewhere, because it's ugly (for me)
LOL thats the exact same thing i was thinkingthunderbolt wrote: i bet you that the EA producers have been watching too much initial D
anyway the 86 is a very stable car (for drifting) but its pretty slow. its a classic in Japan, which is where imports.. basically come from. the tail lights r so ugly tho.
