Unique Upgrades

When i pick a Unique upgrade will it work on all cars or just the car i was using when i got the upgrade? If its just on the car i was using could i wait until later to race the special event or will it like dissappear?

Everywhere, I have my Supra and Skyline maxed out, I mean all the 3 bars are fully green, I had about 7 unique parts installed alltogether, 3 on Supra and 4 on Skyline =P
My next car to be maxed out is the Evo and then the G35.

I forgot to mention that before the unique upgrades my Skyline was going 217MPH max, right now its maxing out at 248MPH, crazy fast!

nice.. which car is the fastest?? skyline or mustang?? i think u unlock the skyline or evo last, so its either of those?? anyone know?
