Camera Rotation

I'm seriously missing the camera rotation ability that we had in the first game while modifying cars in the garage, I seriously cannot get a good feel for all the angles and parts of a spoiler viewing it from that angle! same thing for body kits, side skirts, hoods, etc. etc. etc.!
I'm posting in the hopes that you can rotate it and i'm just an idiot, so if anyone has figured out how to, please share.
(and if its not in, OMGPATCHOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOM .... heh)

you click and hold the middle mouse button and just rotate

lol, yeah its an odd feeling indeed. i used to like it.. jsut like with unique performance upgrades... it DOESNT SHOW WHAT IT ADDS!!! WTF! i hope they patch all this BS soon. and allow camera rotation in garage etc. cause its imposssible to make a car look good, when u see soemthing from only one angle

i had this prob for a bit before i figured it out. i have a mx500 mouse, it has 7 buttons. it changed from being button2 in UG1 to scroll up in UG2. does anyone else get insane glare in their showroom?

So what happens if one has only wheel as third button? I have to map it in properties to work as a '3rd button'? This is rediculous, I need the wheel in my mouse... I got to see this game, I'm not too happy with all the little screw ups everyone's mentioning... grrrr

most wheels can be pressed down to function as a 3'rd button.

to reduce glare in the game in general turn off "overbright" in options, i think it gets rid of some of the nice headlight effects though.

Damn, seems like I have to install MS nagging drivers to be able to use this game to its full potential.
Because my middle wheel isn't the best for the cause.
Anyways, I like that you can drive sleeper cars in the races

i got the same problema as you, one left button one right button and one middle wheel. ive tried countless times to press down and rotate cam but it doesnt work.
