For me NO! I use the RX-8 since I unlocked it and used it till the end for Circuits, Sprints, Street X and URL. For Drift, I use the Hyundai Tiburon.

I like AE86 , 206

I'm a supra man myself. They're not good online, because of their bad handling but they're pretty good in drag and they have fairly high horsepower.

rx8 isn't so bad for drags. and its alright for circuit and sprints but wont get you much further than that. in drags it is capable of the 19s but it would take hours or tuning

yes, I use the AE86 for sprints, circuits and street x. For drifts i use my TT, its the car that i've ever spent the most time tuning to turn it into a dedicated drifter and it just rocks
For drags races, i find the skyline easier to handle than the 240sx

All the little scared kids used the Corolla, half of them were cheating even when using that car. It's EA's fault for making a piece of shiznit the best car online.

I use the GTO, a lot of power and rear wheel drive make it a drifting monster, and an awesome dragster. Plus I can handle any other race perfectly since I have mastered the use of one car. This is only in NFSU2 though. Most wanted I use a vette and an M3

RX-7 for streetx, circuit, drag and url for drifting I use the EVO, 350 or mustang

I hate the Corolla. I don't see why it is so popular. It is so ugly. I like cars with good performance, but it has to look good to have people see me in it. (even in the game)

I used the Miata for the first half of the game. It has real good handling so it is very good in Street X. I just plain suck at drag racing. I always total my car.

For Sprints and Circuits, I use a 350Z or RX-7. For drifting, I use a celica. Not the best choice, but I pretty much perfected drifting with it.

The Toyota Corolla (or the Toyota Trueno as that model of the car is really called) is one of the best drifters. I think in real life it was the best car of it's time and class, save the exotics and muscles. It's kick ass in StreetX races in UG2, and is pretty good in drifts as well.

Not only kids as i saw written in some post ahead use Corolla, also player who plays NFS seriusly use it cause as said hundred times it is best car in circuit, url, sprint and street x.
But there is one thing to say, it becomes the best car when one is able to push che car.
For the fact that is ugly, it is a personal opinion, for em being a big fan of initial d it is not (and i think one of the programmer of the team who develop U2 probably like it too to chioose that model).
For the fact that is old, remember that when full tuned there is only the frame that rest of the original car, all the pieces were replaced with new pieces. And for the frame when originally comes out corolla light weight frame was one of her big advantages, a reason for which in real life was one of the most popular cars in real life drift race.

Corolla is certainly the best, but I hate driving it, it doesn't even try to skid!
Other cars make it feel like an accomplishment.

For drifts I prefer the Audi TT, though.

my evo on carbon (tokyo drift replica) maxes out at 249mph and dus imensely insane drifts
