i hope this can become a sticky, cuz it might come out handy!
A few easy tips:
Scoops are for rally cars
Don't use lvl 3 brakes, but lvl 2
dont use carbon bodykits only on hachi-roku remakes!
Dont use Spinners
Dont paint your rims other then black or chrome
Dont change the stock taillights of a Skyline

I don't agree completly with ^Sparco^
- Never paint the rims : What about black & chrome
- Never use a widebody : Some look very very good. eg the "Race-style kits"
- Never use a wing in a hatchback: I only use the LEX 42 spoiler, 'cause it's the lowest on a hatchback
- Always put decals: A clean car can look amazing too.
I agree with the rest

Agree But here're my tips: never use spinners, never change stock tail lights in Skyline, never use SportGlow, StreetRay and Amped tail lights (they look awful IMO). About lvl3 brakes and scoops: use them, if you like them I like them, so I usemaster m wrote:Here's my tip:
Use whatever kit you want. The only person who has to like it is you.

This thread is quite stupid yeah. You cant give tips about cars. Actually. patrickman gives tips how he likes his cars. But we dont give a firetruck! If he just make cars how he likes them himself, this thread would never existed. The fact is, you cant be a beginner. Everyone develops a taste (about cars for example) at age 4.
