The Color of the Disc

You know how all the console NFS games have blue colored discs? Why is that? Is that the game's franchise color or something?

Hot Pursuit 2, Underground, Underground 2?

Well, what do you guys think the color of Most Wanted Disc is gonna be?

My guess is brownish

My guess is blue. But the only CD's I've seen are PC CD's which are always brown like or slightly gold. Mostly they're silver.

as long as the disc works properly

Unlike my cousins PS2. Some idiot put a virus in it and now it doesn't read purple discs anymore. Midnight Club doesn't work now because of it being a purple disc.

Well all the latest discs are blue.

all of my PS2 discs are black, accept for midnight club 1 and afl live 2003, for some reason my slimline PS2 doesnt read the blue discs propably though.

Yes, black. Original PS2 (or PS1, not sure) discs are black.

PS1 games are black. PS2 CDs are blue, PS2 DVD-ROMs are goldish/silver

in fake (copy) ps2 games...the "best" quality is gold colored and the badest quality is silver...
