Help with online mode

When i go to online, it says connecting to EA server but it doesnt connect. I downloaded the patch and it still doesnt work. So what do i do to fix it?

Answer these.

Do you own a legal copy?

Did you install correctly?

Did you register your Seriel Number?

I think his connection is fine if he is on this website

You should contact EA

or maybe their server is down

I dont think their sever would be down for 2 weeks. Does anyone else know what i can do to fix this? I really want to play online
