What about the paint. It is the key element for a good tune
I usually start of by changing the color to white or some other bright color and then do the body work. This way I can see the bodywork in detail right away. This usually doesn't take very long since there aren't that many body choices that look good to me. After I'm sort of happy with the body, I go for the paintjob and start trying out different things. This can take hours some time.
So, agreed. Paint is very important for the look of the car.

I mean, before painting a car you have to think. Yeah....
Usually it's good to think in every aspects of life. The brain is never on vacations!

I think that it is imparative to think before you paint, as your paint type/colour affects the accessories on your car (taillights, etc), your vinyls (pearlescent sometimes, at least with me, makes vinyls difficult to colour), and most importantly, the attitude of your car. For example, if you roll up in a pink car, with a green vinyl, and a yellow roofscoop, then you could quite possibly be laughed right out of online play.

Paint is very Important,
If your using vynils,
You can't go wrong with white or silver.
When fitting a bodykit, a darker silver will accentuate lines
And pearl colours kinda suck.
There should be a custom colour system like in juiced.
There will be the basic gloss+metallic colours, or you can make you own.
This game needs candy colours!
Where do you suggest thios to EA?
Anyway,
Paint can be important for the car's image
