The best TJ upgrade to drag
The best TJ upgrade to drag
What's the best combination of TJ's upgrade to speed up the car? Is it:
- Transmission/ECU/Turbo
- Engine/ECU/Turbo
- Engine/Transmission/ECU
- ECU/Turbo/NOS
- Engine/NOS/Transmission
- or else?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I still believe the best one is Engine/ECU/NOS.
Here's the pic comparing 3 Peugeots with different upgrade sets. Peugeot is taken for purpose, because even being 100% tuned, it doesn't reach highest marks. I think this dependence can be applied to any car.

This is not on topic - the topic is about the best TJ parts to use for drag. And no - the unique won't make your car any lower than the regular suspension settings.Master_Supra wrote:back on topic if i get the suspention will that make my car lower to the ground?
IMO, the best drag uniques must be engine, trans, nos...

i do agree with GT3, i tried different combinations, and the best is engine/transmission/nos. All my best drag time by s2000 using this combination. with this combo, u can get perfect shift on first gear easier, coz the movement of the arrow was more stable.
BTW, my best 14th and vine was 19.48sec...

heres the truth about all of these uniques, yada yada yda.... ok the these are the two essential tjs that u need -tranny and nos- for the third one, u can bsaically use EITHER ECU or ENG or TURB. either way u can hit 18s with that... for me personaly, using ecu is easiest to use esp if ur just new... but engine is my preference. cause i run 18.8s wit 5/6 with that combo oh yea, now im ranked somewhere in the low 50s for drag, and my focus has turned to sprint mode now
