maxing out skyline's acceleration

how do you dudes max out acceleration with your skylines? i've beaten the games so many times using different TJ upgrades each time, but i've never been able to fully fill that acceleration bar. so either i'm doing something wrong with my regular parts combo, or these people i see online are cheating. if there's a special parts combo/order (regular and unique), can you please inform me of it?

My Skyline has a really poor acceleration and it costs me wins a lot of the time. I think the best car for acceleration is actually the Mitsubishi Evo, I'm not 100% sure. I like a car with good acceleration and good handleing, i'm not over fussed by having a high top speed.

p.s. I'm stuck on the 96th race in underground mode - any tips

This is a lil off-topic, but yep, you're right there BurnBoy - there's a guy on GameFAQs who actually measured all the cars stats on his screen using a vernier caliper!! (must've been real bored

)

He did this for all cars, both in stock and maxed performance tune.

For maxed accelleration, here's the findings...

Acceleration - Max Performance

So yep, the Lancer beats out the Skyline for acceleration...

A RX-7 faster in Acceleration then a 206.... don't think so I always am faster on the fist lap then a RX-7 with m,y 206 always a headstart... so...

That is interesting info GT3x24x7, yet I feel like my RX-7 goes quicker than my Skyline and yet the stats don't prove this!?!?

ok, so i played my cards right. the only way to max out skyline's accel is to cheat. so i'm good. thanks for the help, dudes.
