Brands and Models of Parts

Post by High-Octane »

Hey everyone
I've been trying to locate the car parts from NFS underground and tere brands and models in real life. To gain a idea of how much a car i designed will cost. But i'm having a extremely hard time. Could anyone assist in making a list or locating a list of all the models and brands of the parts in undergrand.

Thanks

Regards!!

hmm want to upgrade your cars performance..and do up the aero's on the car...

AERO WORKS
doing up the aero's...well thats gonna be hard for me to find the actual product since they named them all these random names....you can try out alot of companies such as the popular companies Veilside, C-West, INGs, or other brands. Most kits cost around $3000 (includes front and back bumper and sides) i think...if you want to get hoods or a carbon fibre hood they cost similar prices...shop around customizer places or check on the web. normal are cheaper..i think..Roof scoop is a "I dunno" thing coz i dont see that much ppl with roof scoops driving around the block..check mayb overseas..

BOLT ON POWER
ok now to the bolt on power part. The eclipse, its got a stock turbo. Since i duno what kind of brand you like, ill go with the brand on your desktop "Greddy"..my favourite.

turbo parts: available on the eclipse of course a turbo upgrade worth around $2450USD, add that with a blow-off valves from around $200AUDranges, intercoolers around $2000AUD, turbo timers/boosters around..well i duno about them. **if you like Greddy go onto http://www.greddy.com for more info on they whole load of turbo parts**

Exhaust systems: its choosing which is good in value and lasting awhile...most main exhaust end/pipe cost $1250 and mostly add 20kW..parts like the back-cat, main, front pipe that go with the exhaust system are all seperate cost a price but i dunno the ranges. Some exhaust systems can be bought in only 2 pieces not like 3 or 4 pieces.

RITe now thats the most i can handle with bolt on power stuff..more will come if you want more..

BOLT on HANDLing stuff
Brakes, clutches, suspensions, springs etc etc..lower the car buy like Tien springs $500set i think or King springs $250set (both AUD). Brake system thingy...well brembo are damn expensive..so i dunno the prices..suspensions go with ones that actually help your ability to handle the car well, clutches im not good @ naming them so yeh.

EXTRAS
im taking about racing seats, steering wheels, those acessories stuff, well im not gonna really name those stuff if you dont want them and make your interior stock style so yeh...

IF u wanted Nitrious in your car...well i think its illegal in AUS so i dont bother looking @ them..i think they can hit around ova $1000....but if you were gonna put it your car customize your car so the police dont hit u....

**EDITED**O.Z rims...well i dunno how much those ones cost but i think they are around $5000set...O-Z are good rims but cost alot...my friend bought sum for his STi worth $5000....extremely expensive i reckon...

WHERE CAN YOU GET THESE PARTS
Since you live in Australia like me...check out Cartoys.com which you can order from them or N1 distribution..<<extremely good place i think...coz thers a store in VIC. **EDITED** drive around melbourne for performance shops around VIC...OOH...BTW..i dont think that many shops will sell eclipse items @ the place...so it could be ordering from overseas..i think...well i dunno....BAH

Cartoys well thers a catalog available time 2 time..but head onto their web http://www.cartoys.com ...their store is located in South Australia...so BLAH..

N1 distribution....thers also a web... http://www.n-1.com.au many stores located...one in VIC...[as i said afew lines above]...and i reckon N1 is bloody good to get your stuff...quite alot of things....

any typo's or dumb blab or missed out stuff...msg me....coz ill check it properly...

P.S. :most of the prices are different so i dont exactly know the real prices, its estimated, some prices are in US and AUD.BLAH...

er, just to add to that list he made. Although Greddy are a trusted brand, they really are quite expensive for the relatively small power gains you get from them. For the best power upgrades, you'd have to look at Blitz or HKS.

Aero: like he said, veilside, C-west and ings are popular (my car has veilside on it, so did my RX7 before that, very high quality). Also check out Bomex, Amemiya, BN sports, Knight Sports, Border, Top Secret, Blitz, and if its the eclipse, looking at ralli-art wouldnt be a bad idea. A CF hood costs around £750 for a sculpted one (ie evo vents etc), a smooth one is around £600.

Power: Blitz Professional Turbo - designed by KKK (a german supplier who do the turbos for porsche etc). Extremely large power gains. Costs £4,881.00,t he kits include a KKK turbo, tubular stainless steel manifold and remote waste gate.
Blitz Nur spec exhaust (full cat-back downpipe plus backbox) - £540
HKS blow off valve - £245
Blitz Solenoid boost controller - £550
Blitz Turbo Timer (doesnt give any power but ensures the engine is kept running to avoid damaging the turbos until theyve cooled down) £300
Blitz LM front mounted intercooler - £945

The power gained from these modifications would be in excess of 900bhp 8)

If you want information on suspension, brakes, wheels, interiors and which ones are the best, pm me 8)

I love the 2nd gen Eclipse, and plan on buying one next year. But it will probably be a GST and not a GSX, 'cause the later are too hard to find and when it is found, it's normally too expensive.

BTW, what do you think of this wide body kit? I think it looks really nice.
