Fraps problem ...

Hello ladies ^^ .. I've started having some trouble with Fraps, as it simply crashes my NFSU ... not only is this odd I think .. but also quite frustrating, I tell you. Does anyone know if there is a funtion I've enabled/disabled, that causes this? Or is this a known bug? If I have Fraps running, my NFSU simply doesn't want to start at all ... it cashes to desktop .. weeeeee .. not. If I fire up nfsu, and then alt+tab to windows and then fire up Fraps, I can maybe have a quick run at making some fast screenshots, but then it will irrevocably crash my system, causing it to freeze, and craving a reboot. Now .. this ain't nice at all. By reinstalling Fraps, I now get a speed.exe crash when i stop making screens, and alt+tab to windows to check out the newly made screens, and see if I need to get back into the game to make some more. It isn't a total system crash as before ... but still frustrating. Can sombody who has fraps (v 2.1 final) working without these problems, please give me hand figuring out the problem? Thanks in advance =)

I have fraps version 2.1.1 , when my nfsu crashes it goes down to
the task bar and I can't open it back up . So I trick my pc by
changing my pc screen size from whatever it is to 800x600 ,
or 1024x768 . Then I click on nfsu in the task bar and it opens up fine.
I hope maybe this trick works for you . On another note , does
anyone know which setting I should set nfsu on to get my fraps
movies to come out better ? 640x480 , 800x600 , 1024x768 ,
1280x960 , or 1280x1024 ?
