Wel i own a ps2 but not use so it much cause it's firetruck up i got it modded with a chip and now it only seems to play cd-r copied games and the origanals, movie. But i want to play dvd copies and those he can't read. I got about 20 original games. Some of them i played like uhm... one time. And a bunch of demo-cd's. Must sell those originals sometime. Much repair the ps2 so it can play dvd copies. Then i'll be happy!!! If you're interested in buying games from me send me an e-mail and i'll sent a list what i sell. toineed@hotmail.com

That said, there are just some things a PC can do that a PS2 cant.
for example: Cheat detectors/killers and mods to replace all the crappy music in the game.

i use my pc for chatting and online games
i use my ps2 for mainly racing games
i use my gamecube for any game really....
although i have Underground on my gamecube, i was happy with it, but i don't know if i should get U2 on PS2 or Gamecube

LOL...

I'm not spending money on a thing that is only good for one thing... (exept a extra option for playing DVD movies)
and is is not upgradable... and uses a low res monitor (TV)

I stick to my multimedia unit wich can play games, movies (DVD and other codes) plays music, let me edit movies, browsing the internet, watching tv.
AND lets me type a letter, and other office tasks....
(and is even upgradeble)
