Melissa and addon part prob.

Hi.I'm new to the forums.I have 2 problems.

1.I can't beat Melissa I have all level 3 upgrades on a Skyline GTR but I still can't beat her.What should I do?

2.I don't know how to install a addon part.Please explain how to do this clearly.

About point 1: Choose easy level

I race about 60times until win her, 350z vs 350z and hard level. At first, you can easily get 1st place. Then you only have to do 2things:
1) Not to crash, so use breaks everytime it was necessary.
2) Dont allow Melissa to pass you (use interior camera and switch ON the mirror) If you have skills enough, try to crash her into a wall (when ascending on Market Street, the chinese street)

She always hit a wall each lap eveytime I've raced her. I beat underground mode 3 times. She's just a bad/craaaazy driver.

Just show her nice delivery vans, lamppoles and buildings up close, she will like it and stop to admire it for a while, when she has crashed, keep on speeding.
Save your NOS for the run at the finish line like I do.

Now I am worried, I am going to try a Toyota Supra vs Melissa, it turns very badly.

Thanks guys but I beat Melissa.Now all I wanna know is how to install a addon part to the game.And Sweeper there is no way you're going to beat her with a Supra.Nissan VS Toyota=Nissan.

you mean parts that are not in the game? or just to change your visual parts onto your car? (customize car menu)

I know it will be difficult, but when you dust Kurt with 30 seconds in a Supra... And that wasn't on easy level, I wonder what I can pull off.
Though I don't drive the Supra if I am serious, then I drive the rotary engined RX7 and I have no problems.

So for me:
RX7 is my racer.
Supra car I drive for fun.

You can't change any parts in the game except for decals and vinyls

yeah, nothing of the car geometry can be changed (cause it hasn't been cracked or something like that), so there isn't any part you can add in the game. I don't know if in other NFS games you can do that, but in NFSU sure you can't (I'd like to do too

I've beaten Undergruond 14 times, with different cars for each one. Oh and after my first profile I do every race on hard.

My tip, get better at the game and you'll find Melissa is very easy to beat.

I have beaten the game 20 times each time on hard and with a different car. But melissa is easy to beat even on hard because she alway's make's mistake's like hitting walls and traffic.

This race is actually one of the simplest.

Read what they say for your question above.

Anyways, I recommend an RX-7 if your having trouble. Or a Miata at least.

Or, you can practice on teh track. Expect the unexpected. ussualkly the elft side of the roads contain the most dangerous traffic.

She can mess up real easily, so theres a chance you can get lucky.

Dont use nos at the start if you plan to use it later on .if you want to usse your nos from the start, use it all up and get as far as you can.

Light taps with the nos gets you places faster with less nos use. it's well knows to experts of this game.

Make use of the first shortcut, the one after the train

and make sure you turns dont slow you dont. Hitting wallss can be a bad thing.

You are forgetting one thing for guys like use it''s easy but you forgot that there are people who are not so good at race game's and can't beat the game on easy lvl but still try because they just do it for the fun of it not because they want to compleet the game

Chad overtook me, I could never catch him again, I tried for 2 whole laps, drifting, doing racing line and using weight shifting but he kept pulling away.
I guess there was a bug in the catchup logic, had that happen with the RX7 too, they just matched my speed, even though I were behind.

But if I don't let them pass me (Hey Chad, see this nice light pole? Have a closer look, CRASH)
But my run at the rotary drag was the funniest.
ALL TOTALLED!

I was going uphill when I heard loud crashing sounds from behind, as I looked back I saw raining delivery vans and RX-7's.
One managed to dodge them all, but he missed the uphill and crashed in a fence.
LOL
And no replay to record it on, damn that I didn't run Fraps there, it was so funny to watch.
