Does anyone know any funny glitches for need for speed underground
I have one: If you go to level 3 (engine i think) on the RX-7 it says replace pisons and rods. thought that was kind of funny,

Actually it's quite general those things. Just like when you install level 3 tranny you add 6th gear. Even though some of the cars come stock with 6th gear, or some even get 6th gear with lvl1 tranny installed.

Well there is the rims glitch which is pretty widely known. If you go into Underground mode and have a skyline or something that can have 20in rims, then you go and trade it to something like a Neon or a Miata, the 20in rims get transferred. Alot of people do this for the little competitions we have here on the site, it's more of an exploit.

And I too have always found it funny that you pay for a weight reduction kit, or whatever it is. My dad and I are fixing up an old 83 Celica GT and so far it's cost me $0 to rip out alot of the interior pieces :P

Yep, the weight reduction is a bit scetchy...
Also turbo without intercooler on the RX-7 I mean, come on it comes with an intercooler on the stock setup
And the best is that they on a rotary car mentions a lot of PISTON engine parts, valves, camshafts, high compression pistons etc.
Since when did rotary engines get cams?

I'm no rotary expert, but I'm pretty sure that a rotary has valves. Therfore, wouldn't you need cams to work the valves?

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, the high-comp pistons is really stupid.

Edit: I just took a quick trip to howstuffworks.com . . . silly me.

Well a rotary engine doesn't really have valves... It has a cycle...
There are no cylinders inside a rotary engine...
It has a round burnchamber an a triangular rotary "thing" turning in there...
It's like if you quater the circle the first quater is the intake, the second quater kompression, the third is the power that comes out of the ignition of the fuel and in the fourth the exhausts gettin pushed out...

found sth on the i-net which is a bit better than my description:

on the ps2 nfsu2 goto the decal on the quater panel and the image will display section 1 (showing a large single decal) but when you use it it comes up as two selections. Then the two section quarter panel decals come up as one large one!
