problems running need for speed underground...please help!

Postby blueicechrome » 23 Nov 2003, 11:01

i'm having trouble running need for speed underground...i just bought a brand new dell xps system about a week ago, spent a little over 5k on it, and ran windows update, so everything is up to date, and i install nfsu underground w/o any probs at all, but then i go to double click the icon on the desktop for it and nothing at all happens, nothing, i get an hourglass for all of 0.5 of a second and then disappears and nothing. doesn't say cd-error or anything. I put in the cd, double click on rungame and nothing happens.

what can i do?

i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing helps.

your responses will be greatly appreciated.
