Post by Affez »

Anybody tell me, how the heck did he do that?

All 3 maxed-out bars. See?

I'll go ahead and paste the picture here for your convenience.

It's by Deathfest. You can check it out in the car showroom on this site.

YUP!! PHOTOSHOP!! By looking very closely at the acceleration and handling bars, I can see a slight discoloration line where the bar is supposed to end. The top speed bar is really maxed out, since there are no discolorations like in the other 2 bars.

The moderator of this site should delete this car from the showroom, since it is graphically edited.

Moderator, just save the picture then zoom in using the Windows Image Preview that is usually the default program to open .jpg files with. Zoom in close enough, and it becomes more obvious than glass.

i'll leave the decision upto admin, but to be honest i don't think it will be deleted or it would be fair to delete it, because the idea of the showroom is to show off the looks of you're car not the performance.

No, I will not delete the picture, even though it has been slightly modified.
The rule that says pictures should not be modified mostly applies to changing the profile name in order to have more than 5 cars in showroom and to changing the brightness and color balance in pictures which makes them too bright or with too much contrast (we get pcs like that too).

Makes sense.. However, I cannot help but notice that the car may have been modified too. It looks rather unusual with its strongly contrasting red streaks, and the curves do not look geniune. [/img]

I can't help but notice that the "skyline's" headlights are taken from the Hyundai Tibouron. Also the carbon fiber hood is tinted red. Somebody must have noticed this prior to me...
