NFS Underground under Win98 - big problem

Hi folks !!
I have NFS Underground and i have big problem: i cannot run this game under win98 !! ;( when i starts game the screen goes black....and it returns to windows..... i hear that this might be fault of bad crack... is it true ?? i appreciate any help

if u r using a crack yes it could be, see the crack must be the same version as you game - US exe with US version of the game otherwise u get black screens

why not try it without the crack?
