well i actualy..i suggested something like that long time ago...check in suggestions..you will find "racing duels via internet"..that would be awesome IMO cause we get to ride our garage cars live on the street..but anw i guess it wasnt going to passed so..it was just a suggestion...but its cool cause i played multiplayer on underground1 and it was really cool and also had rep points and stuff

Its not a very realistic competition, attempting to localize all the times and trying to get on at the same time. Plus nobody would know if the person on the other side is using a trainer. The average number of players online on Underground 2 is around 8, and its around 50 for Underground 1.

I really hope next NFS will have free roam mode for internet. I.e. gathering 20-40 people in one city.

@Pinecone : Thats not true..i had an account in underground1 and it had LOTS of users and as for trainer..we were having Cheat detectors...so if someone was to cheat...it will show on the screen..as for time...we all have messangers so that wouldnt be a problem...its a nice idea..and it will be awesome to race our showroom garages in the city to see what are they really made of

My point was meant to sound a little more like Petros's 1st post where he siad about winning rep points, i meant this would be fun

the next NFS will not have free roam at all! just like NFSU1 choosing your races. but it will have the robber-cop thing. during races cops will chase you and try to stop you. if the cops didnt got you and you didnt cover your license plate(wich you can cover with nice smilies:P) you will get a speedingticket.
