Rule #1: You need to take a picture of your car in the car customize screen or car select screen.
Rule #2: Only 800x600 size pictures from the select ride/customize ride menu will be accepted. Picture must also NOT be edited in any way (profile name must be seen).
Rule #3: Due to large amount of cars some users are submitting, there is a limit of 5 car in this showroom per user.
Rule #4: We will not accept cars from people using trainers (if PIZZADOX is your profile name, your car will not be uploaded).
These 4 rules apply to rule #3 and #4. In the beginning I wanted the showroom where everybody could post their car, not like some showrooms where only registered users can post. When having only registered users posting you can easily limit their car uploads, whereas in an open system you can't. That's why we're relying on profile name as an identifier. That is the reason the picture must be from the car selection / customize screen and unedited.
Same thing goes with trainers that alter your profile name (we also do not support the use of trainers as they can be used in online mode).
The last rule is that you must upload your car is jpg/gif/png format. We no longer accept bmps, because we now have an automated system that edits the pictures and creates thumbnails. Unfortunatly it can't make thumbnails out of bmp images. And yes, up till now one of us had to make a thumbnail of every picture and then upload it manually (we managed to get 1000+ cars up that way
).And because of this automated system I'm thinking of raising the limit from 5 to 10. But to be honest, how many of you have used more than 5 cars on your way to the underground champion?
