Save crash

When I play NFS Underground and I want to SAVE it, the game crashes to Windows(xp). It also crashes when I have high enough reputation to be on the cover of first magazine(autosave?)after race 4 or 5.
Can anybody help pls?

Get the most recent patch, it might fix the problem. Also, we'll need some information about your PC.

pc: intel pent 4 - 2400, GeForce 4 4200, 512 MB ram

Get rid of the crack and get the real patch from EA. Or are you using an illegal copy?

got the ea patch and it now works without any problems...
