NFS 4 In Hot Persuit 2

Post by The Raven »

Is there any way to put cars made for NFS4 into NFSHP2? This would be awsome if you could...the "ahem" selection of cars made for NFSHP2 just simply suck ass.

not at this present moment, we are all waiting for a zmodeler plugin (program for making cars) to allow us to convert the HP2's .O format to a simplier format for editing.

I don't get why ppl don't try to make NFS Porsche available for scratch made cars, NFS PU has more features than NFS HP2.

People have tried to crack the format of NFSPU, but nobody has succeded yet and probably nobody ever will.
EA didn't want to make NFSPU open to car modeling.

Niether did NFS1, 2, 3, ,4 (not to meantion HP2)
But if they'll succeed trying, they'll make it!

(and it's 3 years old! Come'on! it shouldn't be that hard to crack a 3 year old game!)

Hey Max3000, have you tried making porsche cars from scratch. Maybe you will be able to work it out and share with others so that a variety of cars will be available.

Actualy, it doesn't have anything to do with modeling.
It's about programing and cracking the NFS5 files.
And i dunno anything about it......

Thanks man but I know it's about programming and cracking formats but I thought you might of had a shot at trying to make 'em is all. It only takes the talent from one to have a heap of cars to follow.

Cool to see that some understand those programs whilst the rest of us enjoy racing their creations..

Talking about Zmodeler, does anyone know about a good tutorial for modeling, but more important skinning with it?

There's a tutorial for making scratch made cars in Zmodeler available here on NFS Unlimited. You'll find it in NFS6 or NFS4s tutorials section.
