NFS HP2 Crash when force feedback

Hi

I just got NFS HP2, installed the 242 patch, then the NO-CD patch for 242.

First, the game always tell me my Logitech Wingman Formula Force is not automatically detected and I have to re-configure the control assignment EVERY time.

Second, as soon as I get into a race, when the force feedback is needed (as soon as I crash on a the border wall), the game freezes and I have to hardware-reboot the computer.

Can anyone help me?

i HAVE THE WINGMAN GFORCE FORMULA 2 AND i DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE FORCE FEED BACK. TRY TO REINSTALL IT ON YOUR SYSTEM THEN RE CONGIGURE THE WHEEL AFTER YOU CALIBRATE.
MAYE SURE ALL SETTINGS ARE AT FULL RANGE AND THEN ACTIVATE THE CENTERING SPRING.
