I can't seem to put my geforce 4 to work with nfs4

Hi i have a geforce 4 mx 440 and the directd 3d doesn't support it how can i put it to work software rendering sucks!!!

Open 3d setup (in NFS4 folder) and choose direct3d.

the G Force card was made after NFS 4 so the grafics will never be that good for you.

superracer: In the 3d setup there is only the option for software rendering, no d3d option.

Guest: So a geforceFX 5900 will have inferior graphics to a say, voodoo1?? i dont think so!!! The problem is that there is no support in nfs4 for newer vid cards.

As for the original q, i have worked it out

u need the "fast graphics" download from this site. from homepage goto nfs4 utils (down left side), then look for the "fast graphics patch". use that and all ur problems r solved

I just ran that .exe file (the patch). It replaces the NFS4 d3da.dll file with the NFS5 d3da.dll file. I don't remember what it does exactly but I've read about it before on NFSCheats.
