The Charger runs 13's stock.

I have a Charger, but it just gives me around 9.50. What should I do with it. I haven't tuned it, but I think first gears are a bit short.

thats exactly what I meant. You HAVE to change gear ratios, front/rear suspensions stiffness etc et etc....

Best ive been able to pull off is a 5.98 with the supra, and honestly the secret is running with the clutch, and taking the suspension down to stage 2 so you dont wheelie anymore. and obviously alot of tuning. but its not enough, people using the gt500 are owning the leader boards, and I wanna figure out how to tune one up :P) I even hit a 9.68 on the 1/2 mile and it wasnt good enough to rank very high at all on the track I was running at the time.

Ok, at the risk of sounding really dumb, I'm gonna ask anyway.

What's the trick to holding long Wheelies? I can't seem to do them consistently.

mind posting some tuning tips, I use the same car

@senzr - u need a car with enough HP to maintain the wheelies, you can also hit the NOS

I was able to get ~7.5s from a '65GTO with 546hp on "incredible burnout" grip, poor starts (in the red) and perfect shifts with NOS through 5th gear...
Set the Rear shocks to soft, fronts to hard, tall(ish) gear ratios (just make the final drive taller unless you're fine tuning). Keep the front tyre pressures high and rears low as well and keep all your steering settings nuetral (camber, toe etc).

No problem,
first off I am up to 800 break, bang on.

Tuning: Soften rear suspension & stiffen front suspension
Set all gear ratio's to tall except 5th and 6th - still keep them quite high tho
Use NoS at mid Gear 5 IMO.
Currently have start boost mid & end boost high (Need to tamper around with these
still)

Now having problems with the car drifting to the left at the start due to wheelie-in
so am going to try going to suspension stage 2 to see if it fixes it :)

Will post again in 10-15 mins with more updates, although am debating changing car because this was way to much work considering I only get a best of 7.5 and supras are going under 7 consistanly by the looks of it.. =]

hmm.. im thinking of using my pagani zonda for drag... is it worth it I wonder? I think it is being wasted in speed because most cars can get to 200+ and the zonda hasnt gone over 240 so..

still havnt gone below 7.5 in the M3.. and still tries to drift off to the left so I think I may give up with trying to make it really good and just use it to finish carrer..if i cant then ill change car for Supra or previosly mentoned zonda =]

any other suggestions?

EDIT: Using manual clutch will improove your time slightly once you get used to it also.. well it does in my experience :)

So what is the best drag car then.. irrelavent of cost, the flat out best possible drag car..

I hear Supras cutting 6 seconds
GTO's (some how) cutting under 7 seconds
My M3 manages 7.5..

anyone fully pimped a Zoda 911 turbo or Lambo yet?

I will for experimental purposes and turn off auto save once I hit 500k-ish so I can afford to pimp them aswell as buy them :)

(Allready own Zonda.. free car token FTW)
