Drag Racing Glitch - Dodge Charger R/T

This is something weird in drag.

I shift into 1st gear, 2nd gear, 3rd gear. Then when I'm coming out of 3rd and going into 4th, it automatically stops accelerating, and normally I lose. I customized the car with 596 HP and 530 Torque, so I really want it to go to 5th. Thanks.

P.S. The only thing you can do (atleast that I've found) is hitting NOS after it stops accelerating, if anyone else has this problem.
