Career progress lost?

Hi everyone,
It's been awhile since I've played NFS ProStreet - I just finished installing it, and I copied over my NFS ProStreet data folder to my documents folder, then launched the game. I can see when I open the career mode that my percentage is still tracked (33%), but when I load the career, it makes me play the initial race, then it thinks that I haven't made any progress whatsoever - it has me on the first raceday. All of my cars are still there, but I'm on the first raceday, and the rest seem to be locked.
Has this ever happened to anyone before, and is there a way for me to get my progess back?
