If that happened to you, it means that you successfully changed the logo code, but not the car code. The car code is the last half of the code for the car.

The codes for some cars were different in 1.1. That might be your problem too. If I recall correctly, the code for the Mercedes changed with the patch.

The correct codes are out here somewhere. Search for them.

I found the problem. The car codes on ver. 1.1 are different. Now the next problem is where to find ver. 1.1 codes :D

The codes are in this topic somewhere.

But if you can't find them, send me a PM. I have them saved somewhere.

If you've updated the game, use the v1.1 codes. Also make sure you're putting the codes in correctly.

No, I've had that bug for a while too. I reported it, but nothing happened.

You can upload a zip file to a file sharing site like http://www.fileden.com

I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but what was the car-code for the RWD Evo X again? I can't find it and I know it was posted around here somewhere.

that would be 0B26A9F0 for carcode. although the one ryo is driving has the Default String (AF2DC3C1) in logocode , you can use the 209A8F6B from normal evo. blueprint code is the same for both.

knowing that, one could just buy the normal evo and change the carcode later on

edit:ed my list above, was missing that one there
i think i only posted it in some other thread...

I'm sorry but you're more likely to get help if you don't make your font size 150, you don't use "plz", and you use more than two sentences. Believe me, it does help  Welcome to NFSUnlimited.

(all of the following is for PC, ignore this and skip to the bottom if you're on PS3 or XBox360)
Okay, it's considerably more difficult to get the Bugatti without the booster pack than it is with it. First, why is getting the pack and patch not an option? If you can actually use the patch, use the "unlock all cars" tool made by SAAM007, posted in another thread in this forum.
If getting the patch is indeed not an option, again, it's harder. Make a backup of your save game and find a hex-editor (use Google or ask some people to recommend one to you). You have to find a certain car in the carlot, say the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, by opening up your savegame with a hex-editor. Replace the code for the Lancer Evo X with the code for the Bugatti and save your savegame. Download a savegame-editor (different from the hex-editor) and use it to "fix the checksum". Open your game and it MIGHT work (again, it's harder to do this without the patch). If you can't do any of this, then again, you will need the patch or you will need someone else to help you. Plus, without the patch the cars may not work properly (and in fact they don't work very well with the patch either  ).

If you're on PS3 or XBox 360, the only way to get the Bugatti is to get the patch and the booster pack, and then buy it. If you're on Wii, DS, PS2 or PSP, you can't get it at all.

Also, this is a bit off-topic, but honestly, the Bugatti isn't very fast anyway - there's no nitrous and it's really heavy. Get the F1 instead, or just save your money and get a Zonda (which means you don't have to go through this process at all).

What am I saying? Why am I giving you this help and encouraging you to use one of the most unfair cars in the game? j/k
