Well:
1. Why the heck did you buy the 9250!!!!!!!?????????????
2. Your gfx card is at the limit of playable even though it says 8500 minimum
3. Your RAM can't hold it you will have lag
4. Your CPU is at the very edge of playable

Conclusion UPGRADE your entire PC

RAM will be the greatest bottleneck and will probably cause the game to be unplayable.

Your CPU sucks, get a new one.

Your graphics card is outdated, ATI has stopped supporting it.

a 1.9 ghz P4 should be plenty, i have a 2.0 ghz P4 and it runs MW, carbon, and BF2 without a hitch. but yea if you still have the recipt for the gfx card return it if you can and get more ram while your at it

well the best gpu available which would fit on my pc's motherboard was the 9250 so i bought it and it runs mw at around 30+ fps at all settings except rain effect and shadow effects and anti aliasing turned off at a res of 640x480 but its all good for me

the ram by the way. i think the game would run but will lag and will take long loading times but i dont think the game will be unplayable because i have seen mw running at 128 mb ram.

i have just upgraded the pc with the 9250 and my father wont buy a new one so wish me luck!

So why 9250??? Your motherboard only support AGP???
But u could buy something like nVidia Geforce 7600GS, or ATI Raedon X1600 PRO even if ur motherboard only supports AGP interface.
IMO 256 MB ram is OK, but loading will be a bit slower as you've mentioned.
CPU is OK, mine is even worse than yours : Centrino 1.73Ghz

I think his motherboard only supports AGP 4x but that doesn't stop you from getting a X600 at least

ATI makes AGP versions of X800 and older cards. So for an AGP, you could've gone up to an X800. But the power supply requirement for those cards usually exceeds 300W.

Doesn't matter. It'll still work. Highest you can go on AGP is the Radeon X1600 Pro or X850 Pro. Highest Nvidia card is the 7800GS.

There'd be no point to it though... that CPU is horribly dated. Best bet is to spend a small amount of cash for something like a used 9800 Pro or a 6600GT and grab a 512mb stick of RAM. Should at least get the game to run with some low settings.
